Type Description

ME64 type B ü rkert I/O module (input/output) is used to expand ME63 type industrial Ethernet gateway to collect switch signals from various sensors. Configure further processing of these input signals through the gateway, such as entering higher-level on-site levels through Ethernet protocol. The 16DI module (16 digital inputs) can be used for feedback of switches (limit switches, position switches, etc.). The collected signals are connected to the gateway through a CANopen based bus and transmitted. ME64 can be used in conjunction with valve island components (such as the 8653 AirLINE Field (pneumatic controller for process valves) or process valve controllers (such as the 8691 model) to detect and evaluate feedback in splash proof environments on site. Through the central configuration management of the gateway, ME64 models can be easily replaced with new modules as clients if needed. The ME63 and ME64 electronic modules are part of the B ü rkert EDIP concept (Efficient Equipment Integration Platform). They simplify the integration of on-site equipment (such as valves or sensors) to higher control levels. These modules enhance B ü rkert's EDIP system.
