Product details

Blackrock Microsystems, as a high-tech company specializing in neuroelectrophysiological technology, has always been committed to applying advanced neuroelectrophysiological technology to neuroscience research and promoting the development of neuroscience research. We have cooperative projects with institutions such as the US Department of Defense (DARPA) and participate in the US Brain Research Program. It is an in vivo multi-channel electrophysiological brand certified by both the US FDA and China CFDA.

The CerePlex Direct system is a powerful, easy-to-use, and cost-effective multi-channel data acquisition system:

·It can meet the different experimental needs of users and record high-quality data with high throughput and low noise for animals with fixed heads or those that are awake and freely moving;

·Compatible with various types of miniature amplifiers (wired, wireless, fMRI compatible);

·Can be used for various experimental animals such as rats, mice, primates, beagle dogs, etc;

·It has the characteristics of higher channel count, high cost-effectiveness, wider applicability, lower noise, and compact size, making it an ideal choice for in vivo multi-channel recording;

·Provide comprehensive technical support and services for research directions such as vision, smell, motor sensation, neurological disorders, cognition, and neural functional circuits;

·Easy to install and operate;

The main features of a multi-channel neural signal acquisition system are:

·96 channel system host (up to 256 channels).

·32 channel miniature digital amplifier, realizing analog amplification, analog filtering, and high-precision analog-to-digital conversion for 32 channels;

·Digitization is carried out at the front end of data transmission, with analog signal transmission lengths ranging from a few centimeters;

·The amplifier weighs only 1 gram; Equipped with electrode impedance testing function, 3D acceleration sensor and gyroscope function, capable of sensing subtle motion changes of animals and synchronously saving motion data in neural signal files;

·The flexible connection cable of the miniature digital amplifier can be extended in multiple segments according to experimental needs;

·The data sampling frequency is optional at 30kHz/60kHz, and the data sampling accuracy is 16 bits;

·Multiple types of neural signals can be collected: raw wideband signals Raw data; Neuronal firing spike; Local field potential LFP;

·The system has input and output interfaces for communication with other devices;

·A software package for neural signal acquisition, online and offline classification of neurons, analysis, and signal playback, providing functions such as digital filtering (editable digital filters), digital differentiation, signal oscilloscope, electrode impedance testing, etc;

·BOSS neuron offline classification software;

·NeuroExplorer neural data analysis software, which can perform online synchronization and offline data analysis;

·Neural signal simulator;

·Integrated photoelectric commutator, supporting synchronous commutation of 1-channel laser light source signal and 32 channel miniature amplifier signal

Multiple experimental configuration schemes can be provided

96 channel system host

Capture, process, and analyze action potentials (Spike), field potentials (LFP), and other physiological signals related to experimental state events.

Compact multi-channel, multifunctional miniature amplifier

This is a small and lightweight miniature digital amplifier, weighing only 1 gram. It is easy to collect neural signals from freely moving rodents while tracking the animals and synchronizing them with light and electrical stimulation. It transmits neural signals such as high signal-to-noise ratio extracellular action potentials and local field potentials to Cerebus through a noise free digital transmission method ™ Or CereFlex ™ Direct system for processing. In addition to recording neural signals, it also has 3D acceleration sensors and gyroscope functions as a new tool for monitoring animal behavior. And electrode impedance testing function.

Online Spike Classification

Multiple neurons in each channel can be manually and automatically classified online, providing various classification algorithms such as Hoops (Manual), Manual PCA, K-means PCA, DBSCAN PCA, etc.

Offline Spike Classification

Manual mode classification and automatic mode classification can be performed offline for any neuron in each channel, providing various classification algorithms such as Hoops (Manual), Manual PCA, K-means PCA, DBSCAN PCA, etc.

Neural data analysis

NeruoExplorer is a powerful software for analyzing neuroelectrophysiological data

Comprehensive optogenetic experimental plan

CerePlex Direct uses various interfaces (CerePort) ™, MultiPort ™, ICS-96, Rodent, etc.) can be connected to various electrodes with different channel numbers (Utah electrode, microfilament electrode, Silicon probes, Microelectrode arrays, Individual, metal microelectrodes);

Various electrode implantation devices can be used, such as Inserters, Electrode Drives, etc;

Moreover, our CereFlex Direct system can be connected to TBSI's wireless system and can also be connected to commutators;
