Instrument Features Features
Sealed liquid cell is a specialized accessory for infrared spectrophotometers, used to measure volatile liquid samples that cannot be determined by detachable liquid cells. This liquid pool uses KBr as a window, with a transmission range of 2.5 μ -25 μ m, and can perform infrared measurements of liquid thicknesses of 0.05mm, 0.1mm, 0.25mm, and 0.5mm. The standard configuration is 0.25mm.
Operating Instructions
Specific operation method (must be operated in a dry environment, such as in a room with a dehumidifier or placing an infrared baking lamp on a workbench):
1. First, place the liquid pool flat on the table and remove the PTFE plug.
2. Take out the sample with a syringe.
3. Insert the syringe into the injection port of the sealed liquid cell. Inject the sample into the liquid pool and then insert the sealing plug.
4. After analysis, remove the sealing plug of the sealed liquid tank and repeatedly blow air with a needle syringe to discharge the liquid from the tank.
5. If not used for a long time, residual samples can be cleaned with carbon tetrachloride and dried before being stored in a glass container.
6. Before reuse, if the transparency of the window panel is found to be poor, a small amount of anhydrous ethanol can be adsorbed onto deer skin and ground before use.
7. Lead sheets: 0.05mm per sheet (optional), 0.1mm per sheet (optional), 0.25mm per sheet (standard), 0.5mm per sheet (optional).
Notes on precautions
HF-8Instructions for using a fixed liquid tank
The fixed liquid pool is used for infrared detection of volatile samples, and its characteristics are fast and convenient.
1Inhale the test sample into a syringe (medical injector).
2Open the two plugs of the fixed pool, inject the sample into the pool, and insert the two plugs for later use.
3Place the pool filled with samples on infrared for testing
4Potassium bromide and sodium chloride window plates are highly prone to deliquescence, and the tested liquid must not contain water during testing. After the test is completed, remove the pool, open two plugs, aspirate the tested sample, and then perform displacement cleaning with carbon tetrachloride or carbon disulfide and chloroform. After drying, store in a silicone sealed container. If the window panel is deliquescent, it is not within the scope of our company's warranty.
Attention: The optical path of this product is fixed and cannot be disassembled at will.
