The intelligent Thick 800A adopts the industry's highest end SDD semiconductor electric cooling detector, with a resolution of up to 140eV, which can effectively distinguish adjacent element spectral peaks.
Taking Au/Ni/Cu coating as an example, the proportional counting box instrument spectrum is shown in Figure 1. From the spectrum, it can be seen that the peaks of copper and nickel elements overlap severely, and the peak shape of gold overlaps with the sample background; Not conducive to accurate analysis of elements.
Figure 2 shows the spectrum of Au/Ni/Cu measured by a semiconductor SDD instrument. It can be seen from the spectrum that the peaks of copper, nickel, and gold are clearly distinguished, which is beneficial for accurate analysis of the elements.

Focused optical path design

The intelligent Thick 800A adopts a unique optical path exchange device, which allows X-rays and camera light to be in the same vertical line, achieving the integration of laser point and test point, and the X-ray is highly focused; Collaborate with FP software to achieve autofocus and zoom functions, enabling precise testing of small irregular samples; The angle between the highly integrated optical path switching device and the receiver can be reduced by twice, effectively reducing the errors caused by arc tilt layout.

Special filter for low background measurement

By using specially designed filters, the absorption and enhancement of X-ray fluorescence can be effectively reduced, background scattering can be minimized, and the detection limit for ultra-thin metal elements can be improved (with a minimum of 0.005um), achieving analysis of ultra-thin metal coating thickness.

High precision positioning technology

The high-precision mobile platform can accurately locate test points, and the repeated positioning accuracy of the platform motor is less than 0.005mm; The mobile platform can be visualized through testing software: the mouse can control the mobile platform, and the position clicked by the mouse is the measured point.
