1、 Product Overview
TXQ5 series intelligent typeDual power automatic transfer switchIt is a new generation product developed by our company based on advanced foreign technology. It uses a high-performance microcontroller as the core of the control system, and is equipped with a large LCD screen to display various numerical values and working status in Chinese, making it easy to operate. It is an intelligent dual power automatic transfer switch with complete performance, safety and reliability, high degree of automation, and wide range of applications.
The product is suitable for automatic switching between two power sources (common power source N and backup power source or generator power source) in a power supply system with AC 50Hz, 690V and below, rated current of -630A and below. This is to ensure the reliability and safety of power supply when one power source fails (power outage, undervoltage, phase failure). This product complies with the International Electrotechnical Commission's IEC947-6-1 "Automatic Transfer Switchgear" standard, as well as the "Code for Fire Protection of Tall Buildings", "Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings", "Guidelines for Emergency Lighting Design", "Code for Electrical Design of Civil Buildings", etc. Widely used in high-rise buildings, residential areas, hospitals, airports, docks, fire protection, metallurgy, chemical, textile and other important places where power outages are not allowed, to achieve unmanned continuous power supply.
This product complies with IEC60947-6-1 (1998) and GB1404811-2008 standards. This product has an electrical rating of CB.
2、 Normal working conditions
The upper limit of the surrounding air temperature shall not exceed+40 ℃, the lower limit shall not be lower than -5 ℃, and the average value over 24 hours shall not exceed+35 ℃;
When the ambient air temperature is+40 ℃, the relative humidity of the atmosphere does not exceed 50%. At lower temperatures, there can be higher relative humidity, and the maximum monthly average relative humidity in wet months is 50%. At lower temperatures, there can be higher relative humidity. The average maximum relative humidity of the wettest month is 90%, and the average minimum temperature of that month is+25 ℃, taking into account the condensation that occurs on the surface of the product due to temperature changes;

The TXQ5 series terminal intelligent dual power automatic switch has two working modes: manual working mode and automatic working mode.
● Manual working mode: The manual working mode has three working modes: common power supply, backup power supply, and dual split. The system will not be able to switch automatically in manual working mode.
Common power supply method: Forcefully disconnect the backup power supply and connect the common power supply.
Backup power supply method: Forcefully disconnect the common power supply and connect the backup power supply.
Double split method: Both power sources can be disconnected, or the circuit breaker that tripped due to a fault can be tripped again.
● Automatic working mode: The TXQ5 series terminal type intelligent dual power automatic switch can be divided into three types according to control functions in automatic mode: self switching and self resetting (R), self switching and non self resetting (S), and grid generator (F). The first two are suitable for the power supply system of the grid, and the latter is suitable for the grid generator system.
Note: The terminal type controller does not have a dual split function. It is equipped with intelligent manual forced dual split and only has one automatic working mode, self switching and self resetting. Its other performance is the same as that of the micro break type.
Eight main structures and working principles
The TXQ5 series terminal intelligent dual power automatic switch consists of two plastic shell circuit breakers and accessories, motor transmission mechanism, mechanical interlocking mechanism, automatic controller, etc. All components are installed on a metal base plate. The controller is equipped with an automatic control circuit composed of a microcontroller and advanced and reliable electronic components.
9、 Performance characteristics
The controller simultaneously performs online detection of the voltage of each phase of the two power supplies. When the power supply voltage is lower than 35%~40% of the rated voltage, the controller compares and judges the results, directly sends the detection results to the controller, and sends a conversion command to the electrical operating mechanism after a delay circuit.
Power grid automatic switching switch (time display type, adjustable switching time)
For the self switching and self resetting conversion switch, the control function of the device is shown in the table. In the automatic control state, when the power supply is normal, it is powered by the common power supply. When there is an abnormality in the common power supply (voltage loss or phase loss in any phase), it will automatically switch to the backup power supply after a certain delay. After the common power supply returns to normal, it will automatically return to the common power supply after a certain delay.

Grid power generation conversion switch (time display type, adjustable conversion time)
Transfer switches are commonly used for the conversion between two power sources in the power grid, and can also be used for the conversion between two power sources in the power grid and the generator. In the grid generator power supply system, the generator is generally used as a backup power source, and its control function is shown in the table: when the grid voltage is below 35%~40% of the rated voltage, the generator can be automatically started. When the voltage of the power source reaches normal (above 80% of the rated voltage), the power source is connected. After the grid voltage returns to normal (reaching 80% of the rated voltage or above), after a certain delay, the load circuit is disconnected from the power source and automatically returns to the common power supply.

When the common power supply loses voltage, the common power circuit breaker will be automatically delayed to disconnect and the backup power circuit breaker will be closed. When the common power supply voltage is restored, the backup power circuit breaker will be delayed to disconnect and the common power supply will be restored. Mainly used for the first level at the end of distribution lines, for circuits such as fire protection, fans, emergency lighting, water supply, etc. The TXQ3 specification dual power supply is composed of WeChat circuit breakers, which are particularly suitable for lighting and small motor control equipment.
If an overload or short circuit fault occurs in the load line, the circuit breaker in the transfer switch will automatically trip and cut off the load power supply. After the user has eliminated the fault, press the "manual" button in the control mode to operate the circuit breaker again, and then press the "manual" or "automatic" control mode in the control mode to switch the switch to supply power to the load.
10、 Structure and Working Principle
The transfer switch consists of a three pole or four pole circuit breaker as the main power switch and an electric operating mechanism with mechanical interlocking;
An intelligent automatic conversion controller: with functions such as delayed closing and phase failure protection, it can achieve control of automatic and selective conversion;
A unique mechanical interlocking mechanism: to ensure that the circuit breaker does not close simultaneously during the switching process;
A set of electric operating mechanisms: used to achieve automatic opening and closing of circuit breakers. The electric operating mechanism of this conversion switch adopts the latest electric operating mechanism, which has the characteristics of smooth and reliable operation, and low operating force.
Bottom installation: For integrated transfer switches, the mechanical interlocking mechanism and controller are both installed on the same base plate. The split type conversion switch separates the control switch from the base plate and connects it with a connector, with a dedicated cable length of about 2m. The controller is installed on the door panel of the box.
N is the common power supply, and R is the backup power supply. QN is a commonly used power control circuit breaker, and QR is a backup power control circuit breaker.
When manual mode is selected, two circuit breakers can be manually selected to "close" and "open", without automatic switching function.
When selecting automatic mode, it can enter automatic control mode according to the power supply used at that time.
When using the double split state, both circuit breakers can be disconnected completely.

Intelligent Controller Panel Description
1. NA, NB, NC are commonly used power indicators: the battery level indicator is normal, flashing indicates undervoltage or phase failure; RA, RB, and RC are backup power sources.
2. Manual key: It can be considered as selecting the common power supply or backup power supply on the controller.
Auto key: It will enter the automatic control state based on the use of power.
Double split key: can disconnect the load from both the common power supply and the backup power supply; After disconnection, the wrench can be manually rotated to select between commonly used or spare.
3. When the system malfunctions, the OA flashes, the alarm flashes, and an alarm sound is emitted. Pressing the numeric keypad will manually turn off the alarm sound.
Panel Description
Applicable maintenance
The intelligent controller has manual, automatic, and dual split operation command keys. When in automatic control mode, emergency disconnection operation is required. The automatic control operation has the following operation functions:
Manual operation: Press the manual button for the first time to enter manual and normal working mode, and press this button again to enter manual and standby working mode. At this working state, if there is an abnormality in the power supply, it will automatically enter the protection state and switch to the double split position after 3 seconds.
Automatic operation: According to the user's needs, it can be divided into two types: self switching and self restoring mode and self switching and non self restoring mode;
Self switching and self restoring mode: At the beginning of startup, the default power supply is the common power supply. When there is an abnormality in the common power supply, the backup power supply will be switched after a delay. If the common power supply returns to normal, it will automatically return to the common power supply from the backup.
Self switching and non self restoring mode: The basic function is the same as above, but after the common power supply is restored to normal, it cannot automatically return and is still powered by the backup power supply. If the common power supply is needed, press the "manual" control mode in the control mode, and the common power supply can supply power to the load.
