Product Introduction
The JDH transverse large pull rod type corrugated compensator consists of two corrugated pipes, a long middle connecting pipe, and a large pull rod, which can attract lateral displacement in any plane of the pipe system. The spherical nut on the large pull rod rotates around the spherical washer during displacement, and the large pull rod also has the ability to withstand internal pressure thrust.
The expansion joint is a flexible component composed of two corrugated pipes with the same geometric parameters and wave numbers connected by an intermediate pipe, as well as a tension rod and an end plate. Mainly used to compensate for lateral displacement of curved pipe sections in single or multiple planes. Suitable for 'L' and 'Z' type piping systems. Due to the ability of the pull rod to withstand pressure thrust and other additional external forces, the expansion joint absorbs internal pressure thrust and does not generate external forces on the pipeline. Therefore, intermediate fixed brackets or guide brackets can be used for the pipelines at both ends of the expansion joint to reduce construction costs and improve construction efficiency.

Application example (without considering the correction of compensation amount and stiffness by temperature)
A certain carbon steel pipeline with a nominal diameter of 500mm, a working pressure of 0.6MPa, a medium temperature of 350 ℃, an ambient minimum temperature of -10 ℃, and a compensator installation temperature of 20 ℃. According to the pipeline layout (as shown in the figure), a large pull rod transverse compensator needs to be installed to compensate for the 160mm lateral displacement of the AB pipe section. The number of fatigue failures of the compensator is considered to be 15000 times, and the force on the support AC is calculated.
Solution: (1) According to the lateral displacement of AB pipe section
Y=160mm, 0.6DLB500-FB-2000 can be selected for sample inspection, with a lateral compensation of Y0=193mm and a lateral stiffness of Ky=22N/mm
(2) Calculation of stress on supports A and C
When calculating, consider cold tightness and take half of the actual compensation amount, which is 1/2Y. FA=Ky · 160/2=22 × 80=1760 (N) MA=FA × 2=1760 × 2=3520 (N · m)
FB=Ky · 160/2=22 × 80=1760 (N) MB=FB × 2=1760 × 2=3520 (N · m)
Namely: A and C supports respectively bear a thrust of 1760 Newton and a force distance of 3520 Newton meters.
Product Performance
Composed of two corrugated pipes connected by a middle pipe, as well as structural components such as tension rods, end plates, and spherical and conical washers, it mainly absorbs lateral displacement and can also be used to compensate for axial, lateral, angular, and any direction of displacement synthesized from these three forms. It is recommended to install a compound pull rod type expansion joint in the middle short pipe arm of a 90 ° Z-shaped pipeline to compensate for the axial displacement of the long pipeline at both ends.
Lateral displacement refers to the relative displacement in the vertical direction between one end and the other end of a corrugated pipe. Single type corrugated pipes can have lateral displacement, but the displacement is very small. A good solution is to use a composite corrugated pipe as shown in Figure 2. The result is an increase in lateral displacement compensation and a decrease in applied force.
