JSY Shallow Sand Rapid Filter
After years of effort, our company has developed a new generation of JSY shallow sand rapid filter system with independent intellectual property rights, which combines foreign technology. This product has a compact structure and high degree of automation. Its unique structure can make the effluent turbidity below 0.5 NTU, and the impurity filtration accuracy can reach 5 microns. This device can automatically backwash, and the product not only has excellent functions, but also has low operating costs.
Working principle of JSY shallow sand rapid filter:
Washing and filtering status:
When the system is in a filtered state, unfiltered water is evenly distributed through a self-developed unique water distributor, and the water passes through the packing layer (refined homogeneous quartz sand/garnet) inside the filter in a laminar flow state. When water flows through the packing layer, impurities are trapped within the packing layer. There are multiple evenly distributed water collectors at the bottom of the filter, which collect and extract the filtered water evenly. Horizontal flow filtration can enable the filter to filter at high flow rates and still achieve good filtering effects.
Backwash status:
As impurities accumulate in the packing layer, the internal head loss will continue to increase. When the pressure head loss of the inlet and outlet reaches the set value, the system will automatically activate the constant pressure device to switch to the backwash state. When this backwash is completed, the hydraulic valve changes the water supply direction to achieve backwashing one by one, making it easier to clean the accumulated impurities.
When the system is in backwash mode, the filtration continues to operate, and the standard unit fiberglass tank that needs to be backwashed is not filtered, while other standard unit tanks in the system are still being filtered. The filtered clean water is used to backwash the standard unit tank, while the rest is still sent to the user. The backwash wastewater is discharged through the backwash drainage outlet of the hydraulic valve. In the fully automatic and efficient filtration system, a special water collector design allows the fillers to rub and wash against each other, maximizing backwash efficiency and reducing the need for backwash water (cleaning water), while ensuring no material leakage during backwash. A standard unit backwash lasts for 2 minutes. After the backwash is completed, the pressure head loss inside the standard unit sand tank is reduced to a reasonable range. The constant pressure device gives a recovery signal, and the hydraulic valve returns to the filtering state. The next standard unit sand tank is ready to enter the backwash state.
JSY Shallow Sand Rapid Filter Product Features:
1. Small size, easy installation, and space saving. It can be installed outdoors without the need for building a house, saving construction costs. The equipment occupies a very small area and can be installed indoors or outdoors, as well as in layers, with strong adaptability;
2. The equipment has good anti-corrosion performance and a long service life.
3. The filtration volume is large, the filtration effect is good, the filtration flow rate is fast, and the normal filtration rate can be around 40m/h. Depending on the water quality, it can reach 60m/h; The filter backwash uses product water and does not require a booster pump or backwash pump; The backwash process takes 2-3 minutes, with a backwash volume of less than 3m3. The filtration accuracy is high, and the impurity filtration accuracy can be below 0.10mm. The effluent turbidity can be less than 0.5NTU. The filtration system consists of standard unit sand tanks, and the filtration flow rate can be increased from 30.6 cubic meters per hour to 2500 cubic meters per hour.
4. Automatic backwashing: The backwashing of this device is automatically recognized and controlled by an intelligent control system, without the need for manual intervention. Even if there are fluctuations in suspended solids in the water, the device may automatically adapt.
5. Continuous water supply; When the device is backwashed, the filtration process is carried out simultaneously, and the system continues to supply water as usual.
6. Adopting a unique cloth and water collection device, due to the unique water distribution system and evenly distributed water collectors of the filtration system, the water flow is layered throughout the entire filtration process, and the surface of the filter sand bed is always flat during the filtration process, resulting in stable effluent quality.
7. Using refined and optimized quartz sand or garnet as the filtration medium, the selection is based on the water quality. The minimum particle size of the homogeneous filter material can be 0.16mm

Power saving:The system has a unique automatic backwash valve, and the backwash of the sand filter tank is not carried out simultaneously. Instead, it takes turns backwashing one by one under normal system operation, without the need to consider setting up a backwash water pump. Compared with other sand filtration equipment, the required head of the filtration water pump is 6-7m lower.
Water saving:Due to its unique water replenishing and collecting devices, as well as a standardized tank, the system can effectively backwash the medium layer without the need for compressed air. The water used for backwashing is filtered clean water, so the amount of backwashing water consumed is small. The backwash water volume of a single tank is only 1m3/min, and the backwash time is 2-3 minutes.
