The sensor measures pressure through a probe, which has two rows of unevenly distributed pressure holes in front and behind it. By averaging the different pressures or flow rates of the pipeline from top to bottom and from left to right through two rows of pressure holes, a differential pressure is formed, and then the mass flow rate or volume flow rate is calculated..
