1、 Outline dimension diagram of flowmeter2、 Working principle

The flow profile of a flow sensor is similar to the profile of a Venturi tube. Place a set of spiral guide vanes on the inlet side, which force the fluid to generate intense vortex flow when it enters the flow sensor. When the fluid enters the diffusion section, the vortex flow is subjected to backflow and begins to undergo secondary rotation, forming a gyroscopic vortex precession phenomenon. The precession frequency is directly proportional to the flow rate and is not affected by the physical properties and density of the fluid. By measuring the secondary rotation precession frequency of the fluid with the detection element, good linearity can be obtained over a wide range of flow rates. The signal is amplified, filtered, and shaped by a preamplifier into a pulse signal proportional to the flow rate, and then sent to the microprocessor for integration processing along with temperature, pressure, and other detection signals. After that, the measurement results (instantaneous flow rate, cumulative flow rate, temperature, pressure data) are displayed on the LCD screen.

It can directly measure the flow rate, pressure, and temperature of the fluid, and automatically track compensation and compression factor correction in real time;
  • The use of dual detection technology can effectively improve the strength of detection signals and suppress interference caused by pipeline vibration;
  • Adopting domestic intelligent seismic technology effectively suppresses interference signals caused by vibration and pressure fluctuations;
  • Adopting a Chinese character dot matrix display screen with multiple digits, the reading is intuitive and convenient. It can directly display the volume flow rate under working conditions, the volume flow rate under standard conditions, the total amount, as well as parameters such as medium pressure and temperature;
  • Adopting EEPROM technology, parameter settings are convenient, and can be saved for a long time, with the ability to store historical data for up to one year;
  • The converter can output frequency pulses, 4-20mA analog signals, and has an RS485 interface, which can be directly connected to a microcomputer for a transmission distance of up to1.2km
  • In conjunction with our company's FM type data collector, remote data transmission can be achieved through the internet or telephone network
  • Pressure and temperature signals are input to the transmitter, with strong interchangeability;
  • The whole machine has low power consumption and can be powered by internal batteries or external power sources.

4、 Selection Notice

In the selection process, two principles should be grasped; Namely: firstly, to ensure production safety, and secondly, to ensure usage accuracy. To achieve this, three selection parameters must be implemented, namely the large, small, and commonly used flow rates in the near and long term (mainly used to select the nominal diameter of the instrument), the design pressure of the measured medium (mainly used to select the nominal pressure rating of the instrument), and the actual working pressure (mainly used to select the pressure rating of the instrument pressure sensor).
a. When the measured flow rate is known to be the operating volume flow rate, the appropriate nominal diameter can be directly selected according to the flow range in the table.
b. When the measured flow rate is known to be the volumetric flow rate under standard conditions, the standard condition volumetric flow rate QN should be converted to the operating condition volumetric flow rate Qv (according to formula 2), and then the corresponding nominal diameter should be selected according to the flow range in the technical parameter table.
c. Do not make the actual small flow rate Qmin lower than the lower limit of the selected nominal flow meter.
d. When there are special requirements for flow range and nominal pressure, an agreement can be made for ordering.

5、 Installation precautions

1Natural cyclone vortex flowmeterofSensors can be installed in vertical, horizontal, or any inclined position according to the flow direction indicator;
When the pipeline is long or close to the vibration source, supports should be installed upstream and downstream of the flowmeter to eliminate the impact of pipeline vibration;
3. The installation location of the sensor should have sufficient space for the inspection and maintenance of the flowmeter, and should meet the environmental requirements of the flowmeter;
4. Avoid interference from strong external magnetic fields;
When installed and used outdoors, there should be a cover to avoid direct sunlight and rainwater erosion, which may affect the service life of the instrument;
During pipeline pressure testing, attention should be paid to the pressure measurement range of the pressure sensor equipped on the intelligent flowmeter to avoid damage to the pressure sensor due to overpressure.
7. Attention should be paid to the influence of installation stress. The upstream and downstream pipelines of the flowmeter should be coaxial, otherwise shear stress will be generated. The installation location of the flowmeter should consider the thickness of the sealing gasket or install an elastic expansion joint on the downstream side.
8. Before installing the flowmeter, the welding slag and other debris in the pipeline should be removed first.
