Process Instruments was founded in 1994 in the United States, dedicated to developing laser Raman spectroscopy for industrial field process control. We use cutting-edge technologies such as frequency stabilization, narrowband laser diodes, and fast response spectroscopy (f/2.0) for industrial field control.
In 1983, Lee Smith and his colleagues at the University of Utah founded a medical device company (Albion Instruments) to develop the application of laser Raman spectroscopy for real-time scanning during anesthesia. After 4 years of market development, the company's assets have reached 10 million US dollars. The sales of medical laser Raman spectroscopy analyzer reached 5 million US dollars in the first year. We will apply our years of experience in medical laser Raman spectroscopy and advanced RascalTM and internal blade Raman technology to the products we are currently developing and industrial field applications.
Our current product field is online and laboratory laser Raman spectroscopy analyzers. The company adopts the method of employee stock ownership. At present, the company's research and development have received strong support from the US government We are committed to solving the challenges of industrial field control in harmonic systems. We not only sell laser Raman analyzers and components, but also provide solutions for industrial field control using Raman spectroscopy analysis. We can design laser sources in any wavelength range (630nm to 860nm). Enable our light source to better adapt to the excitation of laser Raman spectroscopy and avoid unnecessary fluorescence. Our patented laser head (U.S. Patent No. 6100975) and patented spectrometer (U.S. Patent No. 6028667) make our Raman spectrometer compact, stable, and reliable. We have recently obtained a patent for an 18 channel multi-channel Raman analyzer, with patent number 6859581 B1. At the same time, we use a highly effective and stable laser source (>1500 mW) to make the laser Raman spectrometer more reliable.
Process Instruments has recently been selected as one of the top 100 fastest-growing companies in Utah in the past two years.
