5、 AGV safety protection

The hardware security protection system is divided into four levels:

Sound and light reminder: AGV will have real-time voice reminders during operation, which will be broadcasted when AGV encounters obstacles, turns, performs corresponding actions, or malfunctions. At the same time, there are displays waiting around the AGV, and different operating states correspond to different display effects.

Safety laser: During the operation of AGV, the scanning radar in front of the vehicle scans obstacles within a 210 degree range in real time. When there are obstacles on the vehicle's path, the vehicle stops and waits for them to be cleared before continuing to operate.

Safe edge: There are safety edges installed under the front and rear panels of the AGV. If the safety laser fails, the AGV will immediately stop when the safety edge collides with an obstacle. After the obstacle is removed, the AGV car needs to be manually confirmed safe and the emergency stop switch needs to be pulled again to resume operation.

Emergency stop switch: There is an emergency stop switch installed in front of the AGV car. When the emergency stop switch is pressed, the car drive unit loses power and stops immediately.

Software protection:

AGV has functions such as positioning loss alarm and abnormal status alarm.
