1、 Measurement principle:

When measuring with the Lovibond Lovibond 2000 series visual colorimeter, the colorimetric disc is inserted into the colorimeter and the colors of the left and right fields of view are compared for visual colorimetry. Choosing a lighting system can provide constant observation conditions for chromaticity measurement, improving the accuracy of the measurement. The measurement method is to visually compare the color of the sample to match the chromaticity of a certain color slide on the color chart.

2、 Lighting system:

To obtain accurate readings using the Lovibond Lovibond 2000 series visual colorimeter, it is recommended to use a constant daylight 2000 lighting system, especially for measuring light colored samples. By using this lighting system, a continuous and stable light source can be provided for color matching, which can be used continuously for 24 hours without interference from ambient light, avoiding the use of natural light that varies with time, temperature, and season.
