MC-2010A Coating Thickness TesterApplication scope: This instrument adopts magnetic thickness measurement method, which can conveniently and non destructively measure the thickness of non-magnetic coatings on ferromagnetic materials, such as zinc, copper, chromium coatings on steel surfaces or coatings of paint, enamel, fiberglass, spray coating, asphalt, etc. This instrument is widely used in industries such as machinery, automotive, shipbuilding, petroleum, chemical, electroplating, spraying, enamel, plastics, etc.
Working principle of MC-2010A coating thickness gauge: The MC-2010A coating thickness gauge uses electromagnetic induction method to measure the thickness of the coating. The probe located on the surface of the component generates a closed magnetic circuit, which will change to varying degrees as the distance between the probe and the ferromagnetic material changes, causing changes in magnetic resistance and probe coil inductance. This principle can be used to measure the distance between the probe and the ferromagnetic material, that is, the thickness of the coating (plating) layer.
