This instrument is suitable for measuring the grounding resistance of transmission line towers directly grounded with lightning rods. Its measurement principle is shown in Figure 2. The tower body and the resistance of the lightning protection line in this section, as well as the resistance components in the equivalent impedance of the subsequent (or both sides) chain circuits, form a circuit. By measuring the internal power supply potential of the measuring instrument, a current is generated in this circuit, and the grounding resistance value of the measured tower is obtained through the Ohm's law of the entire circuit.

2. The voltage output is a high-precision CNC DC source, which has the characteristics of wide measurement range, large output current, and minimal ripple interference.
3. LCD displays voltage values, measured current values, and resistance simultaneously, making it easy to operate and perform error analysis.
4. The internal circuit uses high-precision components and adopts PID algorithm for current adjustment.
5. Accurate measurement, the measured value can be considered as the actual tower resistance.
