Working principle of portable open channel flowmeter/flowmeter:
The portable open channel flowmeter/flowmeter is made based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction.
When the conductive fluid moves along the alternating magnetic field of the flow velocity sensor perpendicular to the axis of the electrode, the conductive fluid cuts the magnetic field lines and generates an induced potential. This potential is collected by the signal electrode (two symmetrical electrodes are installed on the two side walls of the flow velocity sensor perpendicular to the parallel lines and magnetic field lines of the conductive fluid), and this induced potential is proportional to the magnitude of the flow velocity; The converter calculates the flow velocity of the conductive fluid flowing through the side of the flow sensor through the induced potential. This flow velocity signal is amplified and converted into a digital signal proportional to the flow velocity signal by the flow display meter, thereby achieving the measurement of flow velocity.
The flow display meter calculates the water flow rate at the end face by adding the flow velocity signal to the water level data and basic structural parameters of the channel, and then using the hydraulic mathematical model set in the display meter.
