Operating instructions:
Connect the magnetic yoke to an appropriate power source and excite it. A dense longitudinal magnetic field will be generated between its two poles. At this point, any cracks on the surface of the workpiece will attract magnetic powder and cause magnetic leakage, thereby indicating the location of the cracks.
There are two detection methods for using a magnetic yoke:
MAGNFLUX dry non fluorescent method only requires the use of a magnetic yoke and does not require a black light lamp, which can sensitively detect defects near the surface of rough test pieces, such as castings and forgings.
MAGNFLUX wet fluorescence method requires the use of a magnetic yoke and ultraviolet black light lamp, which can detect very fine surface defects or slender near surface cracks (only Y-7 and Y-8 magnetic yokes can be used).
