A screen changer is a manual or automatic switching device that includes one or more filter screens, used to filter out foreign particles and impurities during the flow of plasticized materials through the filter screen. The filter screen is supported by an alloy porous plate, which is installed on a plate or column carrier that can be moved to switch between a working position and an offline non working position of the system. The screen changer can be installed on any new or existing extruder, melt pump, reactor, or other extrusion production line. It can be used to filter any type of polymer, rubber, or ceramic melt.
Purpose:
Suitable for high transparency, high viscosity, easy to crack, and high molecular weight plastic filtration devices. Features: Modular leak proof steel sleeve, can be disassembled and assembled by oneself without the need for additional processing. The flow channel does not retain plastic and has a short residence time. On site leak prevention adjustments can be made to the expansion coefficient of metals due to processing temperature issues. The oil pressure starting hole has a screen replacement time of about 0.01 seconds, and production is not interrupted. The filter hole steel mold can be removed separately to ensure the cleaning of the plastic trapped in the hole, and the filter hole steel mold can be quickly replaced to ensure that the plastic behind the filter screen is clean. There is a preheating device to prevent the plastic cooling flow from slowing down during screen replacement
