Metabolism system
This system, when used in conjunction with whole-body plethysmography chambers, can measure and analyze metabolic data while obtaining respiratory function parameters of conscious animals, without the need for any invasive surgery.
The respiratory gas analyzer collects gas concentration signals from the outlet and inlet of the plethysmography chamber. The changes in O2 and CO2 concentrations are monitored in real-time and used to calculate parameters such as VO2 (oxygen consumption), VCO2 (carbon dioxide production), RQ, MR, etc. The collection of urine can be completed through a special volumetric recording box funnel-shaped substrate. The collected urine can be quantified or further chemically analyzed.
characteristic: Applied to drug metabolism research and sleep apnea research, and widely used in drug toxicity studies. The software analyzer can monitor 4 volumetric recording boxes simultaneously It can automatically sample sequentially in multiple plethysmography boxes. Automatic calibration |
