Microchannel plates (MCPs) are sheet-like structures composed of a large number of hollow capillaries (microchannels) arranged in two dimensions. The inner walls of microchannels are treated to generate secondary electrons when particles are bombarded. Photonis' microchannel plates (MCPs) are made from a specialized glass formula and have the characteristics of long lifespan, high electron gain, low noise, fast response, and anti-interference. They are mainly used for the detection of ions, electrons, UV photons, and X-rays. Applied in fields such as analytical instruments, space exploration, high-energy detection, and image enhancement tubes.
PHOTONIS provides standardized and customized products.
Standardized MCPs Product Selection Table:
In addition to providing the most complete standard MCPs series, PHOTONIS also offers a wide range of customized products. Customizable options include: custom format (rectangle, circular sector, circular area, almost any shape and size), enhanced coating, optimized bias current, specialized performance testing, custom length/diameter (aspect ratio), custom plating depth, and square hole MCP, etc.
In addition, PHOTONIS also offers square MCPs with apertures of 10, 20, 100, or 700 microns, which are used for focusing and collimating X-rays and ultraviolet photons. Mainly used in fields such as space exploration and high-energy exploration.
