MF-830 Microforge microelectrode forging instrument
Equipped with a powerful microscope, capable of processing microelectrodes for patch clamp
In patch clamp recording, glass microelectrodes make contact with the cell membrane and measure cell potential without damaging the cell membrane. This forging instrument assists in thermal polishing of the micro electrode tip. A powerful microscope (with a total magnification of 525x) can assist in thermal polishing processing. The heater and microelectrode are both equipped with micro manipulators. The heater is equipped with a fine adjustment unit, which can make the heater close to the micro electric terminal in the vertical direction. The heater moves very small without any obstacles, and its on/off can be controlled through a foot switch.
MF-830 is specifically used for thermal polishing of glass microelectromechanical extreme parts; If additional cutting and bending are required, MF-900 and MF-OP need to be ordered; Optional high magnification lens for various operations.
