Product details
Brand: Jiubin
model: NBS
Name: Friction Testing Machine
1. Product Overview:
This testing machine is manufactured according to the specifications of ASTM testing standards and is suitable for wear resistance testing of rubber products with wear resistance as the main performance, such as rubber tires, tank tracks, shoe soles, etc. The testing method is to place the test piece on the testing machine, apply a certain load, rub the test piece with rotating sandpaper, check its wear degree, and calculate the wear value according to the formula.
2. Machine specifications:
1. Load capacity: 2265 g, three sets
2. Wheel diameter: Outer diameter of 150 mm
3. Shaft speed: 45 ± 5 rpm
4. Counter: Electronic 6-digit number
5. Sandpaper: Particle size # 40/60#
6. Suction: 4 kg/sq.cm
7. Using power supply: AC~220V 50Hz
8. Machine size: 710x440x540 mm
9. Machine weight: approximately 60 kg
3. Test piece specifications:
A. Experimental piece production:
The length of the test piece is 25.4mm, the width is 25.4mm, and the thickness should be greater than 6mm. It should be completely contained in the test piece seat and fixed with double-sided tape The test piece can be directly cut and molded using a molding die.
If the test piece does not reach the specified thickness, it must be glued to the back side with the same rubber, but it should be noted that the thickness of the outermost thin film must be at least greater than 2.54mm. Install the test piece on the machine test piece seat and first wear it for about 500 revolutions to make it completely match the contact surface of the grinding wheel.
B. Comparison of wear degree:
After using sandpaper for a period of time, the degree of wear will become weaker. Therefore, when the degree of sandpaper wear is measured, the wear thickness of 2.54mm should be based on the standard piece test after 400 wear cycles. If the wear amount is greater than 2.54mm, it indicates that the sandpaper is too sharp. The attached square iron block must be installed in the test piece seat to remove the sharp edge of the sandpaper. Compare with a standard piece every time it is removed, until it meets the standard piece.
