The probe can be easily replaced through a push-pull connection system.

The dual-purpose FN probe automatically identifies the substrate material.

After coming into contact with the surface, the instrument automatically switches to the appropriate measurement principle. Therefore, application errors will be eliminated, accelerating the measurement process.

Probe technical parameters

1. Multi point calibration, meeting the provided standards under laboratory conditions

2. Zero point calibration, and the calibration value is close to the expected coating thickness

3. Use precision brackets, not suitable for HD probes

Probe design selection

Different types of cable sockets are more flexible to meet testing requirements. Each standard probe can provide a straight cable socket or a right angle design, which can measure difficult to access similar pipes and hollow parts.

Special probes are required for harsh environments caused by paint or dust pollution. In order to provide ultimate protection in harsh environments, MiniTest 7400 offers a specially designed rugged probe series (HD probe). These probes have special grouting seals to protect the probe equipment. The external spring device makes the probe easy to clean.
