Ensure that the electrodes are always stored in the storage solution of the protective bottle, do not leave them dry, and avoid storing them in distilled water. The storage solution is 3M KCl solution. Please pay attention to whether the reference solution leaks or has dried up crystals. The reference solution is a saturated KCl or gCl saturated KCl solution.
The smiley face or crying face symbol on the instrument represents the quality of the electrode calibration data from the last valid calibration, and may not necessarily indicate the current state of electrode use; To determine the current condition of the electrode being used, please recalibrate.

If the electrode slope is not good or the response speed is slow, the following steps can be used to try to solve it.
1) If the electrode is dry, immerse the electrode tip in a 0.1 M HCl solution for 24 hours.
2) For grease pollution, please use cotton dipped in soapy water to remove dirt from the electrode surface. Then rinse with pure water.
After electrode treatment, recalibration is required. If the calibration result is still unsatisfactory, it is recommended to replace the electrode.
For conductive electrodes: Please store them in a dry environment. When using a four ring conductive electrode, please note that the measuring solution must not exceed the upper end of the four rings and reach the scale line position on the outer plastic cover. Please refer to the instruction manual for the corresponding conductive electrode
