1、 Introduction to Water Oil Analyzer Instrument

OIL-9B portable oil in water analyzer is a UV oil detector and fast oil detector that uses n-hexane instead of infrared carbon tetrachloride extractant. It can quickly, easily and reliably measure the oil content in water (crude oil, fuel oil, lubricating oil, diesel oil, some condensate and refined hydrocarbons). It is widely used in environmental monitoring of surface water such as Rivers and Lakes, detection of industrial wastewater, condensate and circulating water such as petroleum and petrochemical, hydrology and water conservancy, thermal power plants, steel manufacturing, etc., and determination of oil content in marine oil spills, pipeline oil leaks, and soil.

2、 Principle of Water Oil Analyzer

The aromatic hydrocarbon components of petroleum in water emit longer wavelength fluorescence intensity when excited by specific wavelengths of ultraviolet light in the ultraviolet region, and the fluorescence intensity is proportional to the content of petroleum components. The OIL 9B portable water oil analyzer measures the concentration of petroleum in water by detecting the specific fluorescence intensity.

3、 Performance characteristics of water oil analyzer
