The oil-water interface meter is used to measure the interface liquid level between two liquids in tanks, containers, and wells. The difference in density between the two liquids means that the non-conductive product with lower density (LNAPL) will float on top of the liquid with higher density, which is the conductive liquid (water). Products with higher density will sink (DNAPL) and form a layer underwater.
Kynar sheath and high-strength steel core tape can resist corrosion from hydrocarbons, solvents, and other harsh environmental pollutants. This oil-water interface meter is an ideal choice for use in hazardous environments in the oil and gas, chemical, and petrochemical industries.
characteristic:
Detection - Light Non aqueous Fluid (LNAPL) and Heavy Non aqueous Fluid (DNAPL)
Measurement accuracy - measuring oil layer thickness as thin as 1mm
Electronic module (IP65) - automatically shuts off after 10 minutes, detachable for easy cleaning and maintenance
Probe (IP68) - Full pressure/depth rating, 19mm, field replaceable
Steel tape - High strength steel with Kynar sheath, high fracture strength, tensile resistance, and permanent readability - marked in metric (mm)
Portable bag with padding - protect your precision oil-water interface meter from harsh environments
Tape guide rail and hanger - used to support instruments at the wellhead and protect tape from sharp edges of casing
Vinyl grip - molded onto the frame, ergonomic and convenient to grip
Grounding wire design - safe and reliable site use
