Direct testing of ammonia nitrogen in the medium - without the need for sample processing or sampling
In addition to dissolved oxygen testing, ammonia testing is also crucial in nitrification/denitrification processes. Controlling aeration through ammonia nitrogen testing can save a lot of costs. Therefore, a small investment in testing ammonia can yield significant returns - reducing energy consumption while ensuring water quality at the outlet. The new ammonia nitrogen testing system AmmoLytSystem includes a specially designed ammonia electrode that can be tested directly in the aeration tank. The electrode is installed in a special protective cover that can communicate directly with the IQSENSORNET system. The electrodes are controlled by the IQ SENSOR NET system for automatic maintenance and on-site air flushing. IQSENSORNET can also be installed and connected to other electrodes such as dissolved oxygen electrodes, suspended solid electrodes, etc.

System Description:
The ammonia nitrogen testing system consists of an ammonia electrode assembly AmmoLyt700 IQ with an automatic cleaning system. The ammonia reference electrode AmmoLytNHA and ammonia test head AmmoLytNHA/AT are connected to the ammonia electrode assembly through a plug. Each component of the system can be ordered and replaced separately, and the replacement is very simple and time-saving (no need to fill the electrolyte and replace the film).
The cleaning of the electrodes is carried out by triggering the solenoid valve (MIQ/CHV) with a relay in the IQSENSORNET system to activate compressed air (3-7bar). Like other IQ electrodes, the ammonia nitrogen test electrode can be automatically integrated into the IQSENSORNET system as long as it is plugged in, and all calibration and identification data are automatically uploaded by the system.
