Testing principle:β - ray attenuation method
The BAM1020 online particulate matter monitor uses the principle of beta ray attenuation to monitor particulate matter in the air. The amount of beta rays absorbed by dust particles is directly proportional to the mass of the dust particles. Calculate the mass concentration of dust (mg/m3) based on the amount of beta rays absorbed by dust particles. This principle is not affected by the size and color of dust particles, thus accurately measuring the concentration of particulate matter in the ambient air.
