VOS systemThe design purpose is to provide all necessary feedback for the machine tool in order to directly intervene in the part processing process and reduce the amount of waste. The system can also continuously monitor the wear of cutting tools to improve machining efficiency.

The modulated optical transmission system ensures high immunity to interference and makes it possible to manage up to 4 probes in the same working area. Therefore, 3-axis or 5-axis machine tools represent the ideal environment for this system, where the same receiver can be used to perform both part inspection and tool inspection simultaneously.

The design purpose of Marposs software loop is to optimize the performance specifications and loop time of VOS system, while also eliminating manual errors that may occur on machines without installed measuring equipment.
