The "Chunchao Brand" digital direct reading automatic meter reading system is a new generation of intelligent direct reading meter reading system developed by Chunchao Electronic Instrument Co., Ltd. in Yueqing City, Zhejiang Province. It directly outputs the mechanical meter dial reading data signal and has data storage function. The structure is simple and easy to install, making it an ideal choice for three meter out of home use.
When a certain residential area installs and uses this remote water meter for convenient management, the manager can know a series of information such as the user's usage without coming to the door. The remote water meter at the user's home is connected to the collector through a wired connection, then to the concentrator, and finally to the computer system terminal. Managers can easily monitor users' usage on their computers, and can take remote valve closures and various measures against users who maliciously delay water bills. Digital direct reading automatic meter reading system
For users who choose the "Chunchao" digital direct reading remote water meter, they can choose a manual meter reading system or an online (including telephone line meter reading) automatic meter reading system. If smart buildings are scattered, it is recommended to use a manual meter reading system for automatic meter reading; On the contrary, it is recommended to choose a more intelligent networked automatic meter reading system. The digital direct reading automatic meter reading system has the following characteristics:
1. The system structure is simple and easy to install. All remote meters are directly connected to a two core MBUS bus, eliminating complex engineering design and wiring processes. System installation is as simple as installing lights, and there is no need to debug the system.
2. The entire system usually does not require power supply, only needs to be powered at the moment of meter reading. Even when powered on, the entire system remains in standby mode without meter reading.
3. All data is stored in the smart chip, and its accuracy will not be affected by external circuit failures.
4. Each remote meter has a unique IP address, and the system accurately identifies each meter based on the IP address.
5. The data transmission rate is as high as 1200bps, which means that one minute can read 600 meters.
6. The system has a large capacity. A bus can connect up to 128 remote meters, and a modem or signal converter can connect up to 128 buses, meaning a system can connect up to 128 * 128 remote meters.
7. The bus transmission distance can reach over 2Km.
8. This system can simultaneously copy and receive other direct reading remote meters such as digital direct reading gas meters, remote transmission electricity meters, etc.
(1) Handwritten automatic meter reading system
The automatic meter reading system with a hand reader consists of a digital direct reading remote meter, a converter, an MBUS bus, and a hand reader. The system connection is shown in Figure 1.
The remote transmission meters are connected in parallel on the MBUS bus, which can be directly connected to the converter (when the total number of remote transmission meters in the system is less than 128) or connected to the converter through a relay (when the total number of remote transmission meters in the system is more than 128). Each converter (equipped with a 12V regulated power supply) has 128 nodes, and each node can be connected to one remote transmission meter or one relay. One relay can be connected to 128 remote transmission meters. When reading meters, turn on the stabilized power supply of the converter, and press the command button on the infrared interface of the converter with the hand meter. The data from the remote meter will be quickly transmitted to the hand meter. The data in the handheld device can be input into the management computer to complete the data management of the entire community.
The hand reader is the main station of the meter reading system, which is usually in a power-off or standby state. It only works when the stabilized power supply of the converter is turned on and a signal is sent to it by the hand reader. Its working power supply is a 12V power supply that has been compressed to 220V. The distance between the hand copying device and the converter should not exceed 5 meters.
Users can also use a handheld meter to directly read the meters of each building or unit according to their requirements, and then input the data from the handheld meter into the management computer to complete the data management of the entire community. As shown in Figure 2.
(2) Microcomputer networking automatic meter reading system
Unlike the manual meter reading system, the computer networked automatic meter reading system hangs all remote meters on the MBUS bus and directly inputs the remote meter data to the management computer through the bus, relay, and signal converter. From the perspective of system installation and meter reading operation, it is more convenient and efficient than using a wireless automatic meter reading system.
The networked automatic meter reading system consists of a direct reading remote meter, a signal converter, a repeater, an MBUS bus, and a management computer. The system connections are shown in Figure 3.
The remote transmission meter is connected in parallel on the MBUS bus, which is connected to the relay adapter. Many relays are connected in parallel to the signal converter (equipped with a 12V regulated power supply), and finally connected to the management computer. Each converter can be connected to 128 relays, and each relay can be connected to 128 remote transmission meters. Install signal distributors at the bus entrance of each building to prevent lightning strikes or strong electrical damage to system equipment. The signal converter is the main station of the meter reading system, which is usually in a power-off or standby state and only works when the signal converter is powered on to stabilize the power supply. Its working power supply is a 12V power supply that has been compressed to 220V.
