Analyze the membrane
a) 1.2-micron grid membrane is used for phosphorus removal of acid esters, alcohol, and fuel. These should use PALL 1.2-micron non grid nylon film sheets (compatibility).
b) For heavily polluted liquids. This requires extracting 25ml of 1.2-micron membrane, which is somewhat difficult to use. If possible, use PALL's 5.0-micron membrane.
