PhenoTron-SRPlant Phenotype Imaging Analysis System

Plant Phenotyping from Shoots to Roots

PhenoTron-SRThe plant phenotype imaging analysis system can simultaneously perform phenotype imaging analysis on crop roots, seedlings, and crop canopies. The system consists of a host system and a spectral imaging system: the host system includes a system platform (host box), a control unit, a sample holder, a data processing server, etc; The spectral imaging system consists of a spectral imaging unit (including imaging sensors, light sources, gimbals, etc.) and an automatic scanning axis. Its main technical features are as follows:

1) Phenotyping from shoot to root:Phenotypic imaging analysis can be performed on the aboveground part (shoot) and underground root system (RhizoBox, a specially designed RhizoTron plant root observation culture box) of plants

2) The standard configuration includes 60 degree tilt automatic scanning imaging, as well as hyperspectral imaging analysis and RGB imaging analysis of RhizoBox roots and seedlings. Other angles such as 45 degrees, 70 degrees, and 90 degrees (vertical scanning imaging) are optional

3) Optional top canopy RGB imaging analysis, infrared thermal imaging analysis, hyperspectral imaging analysis, chlorophyll fluorescence imaging analysis (optional sample tray suitable for normal culture pots)

4) Optional iPOT digital plant culture pot or RhizoBox root culture box for continuous monitoring of soil moisture temperature, weight, plant growth, photosynthetic efficiency, etc PI(performance Index)、 Physiological and ecological indicators such as stem flow can automatically collect soil seepage water and perform soil nutrient analysis

5) Modular structure with powerful system expansion capabilities, automatic universal casters on the system platform for easy mobility

6) Remote control, automatic operation, data collection and storage, and other functions are available

Technical indicators:

1) The control unit is an embedded operating system with a fully Chinese touch screen, which facilitates system debugging, trial operation, etc

2) Users can remotely control the camera and platform through PC based full Chinese GUI software

3) Support combination commands: up to 10 commands can be set to achieve unmanned operation

4) Serial communication and TCP/IP protocol are used to achieve communication control and remote communication protocol with microcontrollers

5) Equipped with an automatic scanning axis tilted at 60 degrees as standard, it can prevent soil disturbance caused by tilted root culture boxes

6) Automatic scanning axis push scanning speed and accuracy: adjustable from 1-90mm/s, with a movement accuracy of 1mm

7) Effective scanning range: standard 120cm

8) Sample holder: Standard RhizoBox root box 40cm wide (adjustable width, 40cm is the maximum standard width), maximum height up to 100cm, optional with other specifications

9) The sample tray is suitable for a single large culture pot or multiple small culture pots, and can be customized according to customer needs
