Technical application
The DKG ONE PH analyzer is based on ultra sensitive cantilever beam enhanced photoacoustic spectroscopy detection technology, combined with quantum cascade laser (QCL) light source, working on the mid infrared basic spectral absorption peak of phosgene. The combination of these two provides sufficient sensitivity to detect the smallest concentration of phosgene leakage almost without delay, while ensuring ultra-high levels of stability. The recalibration cycle can take several months or even years, greatly reducing the overall holding cost.
Testing requirements
Phosgene is an important organic intermediate with many uses in pesticides, pharmaceuticals, engineering plastics, polyurethane materials, and military applications. Phosgene is highly toxic and a highly irritating and suffocating gas. Inhaling phosgene can cause pulmonary edema, pneumonia, and other life-threatening conditions.
