Platinum rhodium wire material (R-type):
Platinum rhodium wire is a binary alloy based on platinum containing rhodium, which is a continuous solid solution at high temperatures. Rhodium can enhance the thermoelectric potential and acid corrosion resistance of alloys against platinum. There are alloys such as PtRh5, PtRhl0, PtRhl3, PtRh30, and PtRh40. Alloys with Rh content greater than 20% are insoluble in aqua regia. Mainly used as thermocouple materials, PtRhl0/Pt, PtRh13/Pt, etc. are used as thermocouple wires in thermocouples to directly measure or control the temperature of fluids, vapors, gas media, and solid surfaces within the range of 0-1800 ℃ in various production processes.
advantage:
Platinum rhodium wire has the advantages of high accuracy, good stability, wide temperature measurement range, long service life, and high temperature measurement upper limit in the thermocouple series. Suitable for oxidizing and inert atmospheres, and can also be used in vacuum for a short period of time, but not suitable for reducing atmospheres or atmospheres containing metal or non-metal vapors.
Industrial thermocouples have platinum rhodium wire models B, S, and R. Platinum rhodium thermocouples, also known as high-temperature precious metal thermocouples, are divided into single platinum rhodium (platinum rhodium 10 platinum rhodium) and double platinum rhodium (platinum rhodium 30 platinum rhodium 6). They are used as temperature measurement sensors and are usually used in conjunction with temperature transmitters, regulators, and display instruments to form process control systems. They are used to directly measure or control the temperature of fluids, vapors, gas media, and solid surfaces within the range of 0-1800 ℃ in various production processes.
The industries used are:
Almost all industrial fields include steel, power generation, petroleum, chemical, fiberglass, food, glass, pharmaceuticals, ceramics, non-ferrous metals, heat treatment, aerospace, powder metallurgy, carbon, coking, printing and dyeing.
