Instrument Introduction:

The practical total phosphorus rapid analyzer is developed and designed according to the standard HJ/T399-2007. Peroxysulfate is added to the water sample to convert all phosphorus in the solution into orthophosphate. The orthophosphate in the sample reacts with ammonium molybdate in an acidic medium in the presence of antimony salt to form phosphomolybdic acid, which is immediately reduced by ascorbic acid to form a blue complex. After measuring its absorbance, the instrument directly displays the total phosphorus content in mg/L.
