The solvent wiping tester is a device used to determine the solvent wiping resistance of coatings. Use a wiping head with a certain speed and wiping pressure (a degreased cotton moistened with solvent when in contact with the bread) to repeatedly wipe the surface of the sample. The number of wiping times can be directly read by a counter. Based on the number of wiping times required for coating damage, the solvent wiping resistance of the coating can be evaluated.

3、 Operating instructions:

1. Unscrew the fastening bolts on both ends of the sample fixture, place the 75 × 200mm sample under the rubber fixing plate, and then tighten the fastening bolts.
2. Take an appropriate amount of degreasing cotton and wrap it around the contact surface of the wiping head. Install the clamp, tighten the fixing screw, and then take an appropriate amount of degreasing cotton and place it in the inner cavity of the wiping head. Drop an appropriate amount of solvent into the wiping head until the solvent seeps out, and then place the wiping head on the sliding arm.
3. Plug in the power, use a counter to count, and select the number of times you want to wipe; Rotate the speed control knob and select the desired wiping speed (recommended 60 times/minute, i.e. the speed control knob points to MAX).
4. Turn on the power switch of the speed controller, and the machine will start working. After reaching the predetermined number of times, the machine will automatically stop. Remove the sample for observation.
5. If you want to stop the machine during operation, you can directly turn off the power switch of the governor, and then turn on the power switch of the governor again to continue working.
6. After the machine automatically stops, simply press the "reset" button on the counter to restart the machine.

4、 Attention:

1. It is strictly prohibited to turn on the machine without the sample and degreased cotton installed.
2. If the degreased cotton falls off, stop the machine as soon as possible.
