measuring principle

The aerobic degradation process of plastic materials in aqueous media consumes oxygen and generates carbon dioxide. When the sample is placed in a closed container for reaction, CO is produced2Absorbed by the strong alkali at the neck of the container, the pressure inside the container decreases as the reaction progresses, and the respiratory sensor records the change in pressure inside the container from the beginning to the end of the reaction.
