The volute pump consists of a pump body, a bracket body, a cover, a shaft, upper bearing components, lower bearing components, an impeller, a suction bend pipe, and a base. The bracket body is located at the top of the pump body, the suction bend pipe and base are located at the bottom of the pump body, the pump shaft, upper bearing components, and lower bearing components are located inside the bracket body, and the impeller is located inside the pump body. The suction bend pipe and base are an integrated structure. The upper and lower bearing components are fixed in the bracket body by bolts, and the bracket body is connected to the top of the pump body by bolts.

The vertical volute pump combines the suction bend and the base into one part, increasing the strength and stiffness of the suction bend, which can withstand greater forces from the flowing medium and reduce the vibration of the pump body; The pump cover and bracket are combined into one part, simplifying the structure and facilitating maintenance and repair; The upper and lower bearing components can be removed together from the bracket body for easy maintenance and repair.

Working principle of rotary shell pump:

The working principle of a rotary shell pump is that the driving machine (motor) drives the impeller to rotate through the pump shaft, and the blades of the impeller drive the liquid to rotate together, thus generating centrifugal force. Under the action of this centrifugal force, the liquid is thrown along the blade channel towards the impeller outlet, and the liquid is collected by the volute and sent to the discharge pipe. The liquid obtains energy from the impeller, increasing both pressure energy and velocity energy, and relies on this energy to transport the liquid to the work site. When one impeller cannot provide sufficient energy to the liquid, multiple impellers can be connected in series or parallel to work on the fluid.

Based on the above analysis, we can know that the volute pump also works according to the rotation of the impeller during operation. Although its current scope of use is limited, we believe that there will be progress with the market. After years of development, the volute pump has gained certain competitiveness. We believe that in the future, as long as it undergoes reasonable reforms and innovations, continuously improves its practicality, simplifies its working principle, but does not change its core advantages, its competitiveness is still worth looking forward to.
