Structural Description
The structural principle of the S/SH hand pump is that when the handle (29) is shaken back and forth by hand, the piston (7) moves back and forth through transmission mechanisms such as the shaft (21), rocker arm (9), and connecting rod (36). As shown in the figure, when the piston moves to the left, the volume of the pump cylinder on the right end gradually expands, forming a vacuum. The liquid flows from the suction pipe (34) through the suction passage cast next to the pump body and opens the suction valve to enter the right end of the cylinder body. At the same time, the compression of the piston on the left side of the cylinder causes the water pressure valve (5) to open, and the liquid is discharged through the discharge pipe (11). If the movement direction of the piston returns to the right, the left side of the pump cylinder will suck in liquid, and the right side of the pump cylinder will discharge liquid, so as to continuously suck in and discharge the liquid. Forming the operation of the pump. The upward stroke of the pump's pressure valve is limited by the cover plate (6), and the upward stroke of the suction valve is limited by the pressure valve. The cover plate and pump body are fastened with bolts (8), and the piston stroke is limited by the pump cover (14) and pump body.
For installation on walls or other foundations, the pump body has three bolt holes.

| 1. Exchange piston rings and cups ① When the hand pump used is piston type; First, remove the pump cover and remove the piston ring. If excessive wear is found, replace the piston ring. If the elasticity of the piston ring decreases and cannot be firmly attached to the water pump body wall with excessive clearance, the piston ring must also be replaced. Check whether the piston ring is attached to the cylinder wall and can be tested for light or water leakage. ② When the hand pump used is a leather bowl type, remove the pump cover to check if the leather bowl is damaged, because the leather bowl is made of cowhide and is likely to wear out and break over time, so a new leather bowl is needed. 2. Check the suction pressure water valve Each water shake pump has four water valves, namely two suction valves and two pressure valves, which are installed on the pump body. They can be removed by removing the cover nut (see the water valve diagram). The key issue in checking the water valve is to check whether the valve is tightly fitted with the valve seat. After a period of use, it may have been worn, corroded, and uneven, causing water leakage. Therefore, during maintenance, the valve must be disassembled for inspection. If unevenness is found, it must be ground with grinding sand. The smoothness of the joint between the valve and the valve seat should be △ 8. |
