SEM-60The water quality toxicity detector adopts the luminescent bacteria method, following the EU standard ISO-11348-3. The luminescent bacteria used emit blue-green fluorescence at 450-490nm during normal metabolism. Once exposed to toxic substances from the outside, it will affect the metabolism of luminescent bacteria, thereby inhibiting the luminescence intensity. The degree of inhibition experienced by luminescent bacteria is related to the toxicity of external toxic substances. This method provides a basis for the detection and evaluation of environmental quality from a biological perspective. The detector can quickly detect water pollution on site and is an effective supplement to conventional physical and chemical scientific instruments.
