Assembly and disassembly
1. Clean all the components to be installed.
2. Install a mechanical seal on the motor spindle, and add a small amount of clean turbine oil or No. 20 engine oil on the surface where the mechanical seal's dynamic and static rings match.
3. Install the impeller and tighten it with the impeller nut.
4. Install the '0' ring and tighten the pump body and motor end cover with bolts. Pay attention to maintaining a clearance of 25.05mm between the impeller front cover plate and the pump body, and ensure a certain operating clearance between the impeller inlet outer ring and the pump body.
5. The disassembly sequence is opposite to this.
Installment and use
1. Use rubber washers and bolts to connect the flanges at both ends of the pump body to the pipeline flange, completing the installation. For the convenience of use and maintenance, a regulating valve should be installed on both the inlet and outlet pipelines of the pump.
2. Open the inlet regulating valve to allow water to enter the pump to keep the sealed chamber filled with liquid (otherwise it will damage the seal), and close the outlet valve.
3. Connect the power and jog to confirm the correct direction.
4. After the steering is confirmed, start and operate the pump.
Adjust the opening of the outlet valve to operate the pump near the design point, based on the rated flow rate and head of the pump For this, it is best to install a pressure gauge near the outlet flange. Attention: This pump is strictly prohibited from running without water to avoid damaging the seals.

Troubleshooting

1. The water pump is not producing water

The water injected into the water pump is insufficient, the rotation direction is incorrect, and the impeller flow channel is blocked.

Inject water into the water pump again, pass it through the impeller channel, and adjust the direction of rotation.

2. Insufficient water pump flow

The water pump is partially clogged, the speed is too low, the total head is higher than the rated value of the pump, and the impeller is damaged.

Clean the water pump and pipes, replace the impeller, increase the speed of the water pump shaft, and adjust the outlet valve.

3. Insufficient export pressure

There is air in the liquid, the speed is too low, the impeller is damaged, and the outlet valve is too wide open.

Remove air from the liquid, increase the pump speed, replace the impeller, and adjust the outlet valve.

4. The pump consumes too much power (the motor heats up)

Mechanical defects such as insufficient running clearance, bent motor shaft, loose bolts, etc., and the pump working at too high a flow rate, i.e. the pump working at a head far below the rated head.

Check? The mechanical part should be adjusted and processed in a timely manner, and the outlet valve should be adjusted to make the pump work near the rated flow rate and head.

5. Pump vibration

The pipeline system is not well supported, and the impeller is partially blocked causing imbalance, resulting in cavitation and air in the liquid.

Check? Pump support department, tighten the nut, connect the impeller to balance it, and eliminate air exchange.

6. Water pump leakage

Mechanical seal damage, O-ring damage, pump body leakage.

Replace the mechanical seal and O-ring, and weld the leaking part of the pump body.

7. Excessive noise from the water pump

The bearings are overheated and lack oil, and the water pump is overloaded.

Add oil to the bearing and eliminate according to 4.
