Using light-emitting diodes (LEDs) with a lifespan of over 20000 hours as the light source, replacing the previously short-lived and easily damaged sodium lamps and high-temperature tungsten halogen lamps. This greatly eliminates the inconvenience caused by frequent replacement of sodium lamps for users. It has four testing modes: optical rotation, specific rotation, concentration, and sugar content. It can automatically retest 6 times and calculate the average and root mean square value. It can also test dark samples.

The Peltier device of SGWzz-2 has heating and cooling functions, and the temperature control device inside the instrument has heating and cooling functions. If a temperature controlled test tube is used, the sample rotation can be measured by temperature control. The large screen LCD display on the instrument provides a human-machine dialogue menu operation method, which is simple, intuitive, stable and reliable. The instrument adopts a large touch screen LCD screen.
