-As a reference point setting for configuring values through signals, terminals/PROFIBUS DP - Axis coupling: With SIMODRIVE 611 universal, you can connect the drive system using PROFIBUS DP or terminals. Both external drive systems and internal dual axis modules can be connected. The electronic connection of the axis through PROFIBUS is based on direct communication between PROFIBUS DP sub stations. If terminal connection is used, the actual position can be connected through an optional directional incremental shaft encoder interface, or through an integrated analog input/output interface for torque coupling.
