The SMT nitrogen generator combines the characteristics of lead-free soldering in the SMT industry, with a purity generally between 99.9% and 99.999%. The nitrogen production equipment matched with each soldering furnace generally has a flow rate of 10-30Nm3/hr (special specifications are calculated based on actual flow rate), a dew point of -40 ℃ to -60 ℃, and a nitrogen pressure of about 0.5-0.6MPa. The SMT specific nitrogen gas solution can ensure the correct activation of solder flux, reduce the residual amount of some solder flux, enhance the welding quality, and make the welding surface more beautiful.

Nitrogen demand in lead-free electronic assembly:
1) When using high-temperature solder paste or low solid, low activity (no cleaning, low residue) solder paste;
2) When brazing expensive integrated circuit components, small volume components, fine pitch components, inverted chips, and non repairable components;
3) Multiple board assembly processes or soldering of PCBs with OPS coating during multiple reflow processes;
4) When brazing unprotected copper pads or circuit boards with long storage times, reliability is paramount.
