5. Fault - Safe Location

When the gas source fails, there can be two different control valvesFault safe location.

#When the pneumatic actuator push rod extends (FA), the control valve closes when the air source fails.

#When the pneumatic actuator push rod retracts (FE) and the air source fails, the control valve opens.
