Due to the bonding of methyl functional groups and the corresponding low-carbon loading,Bond Elut C1 has the smallest retention of non-polar compounds among all alkyl functional group bonding phases. However, due to the end capping treatment used in this adsorbent, which shields the polar active silanol groups, this stationary phase can still achieve the retention and elution of polar and multifunctional compounds.
