2、 Structure and performance of single effect concentrator
2.1 The single effect concentrator consists of a heating chamber, an evaporation chamber, a condenser, a cooler, a water receiver, and connecting fittings. The entire equipment is made of SUS304 material. Single effect concentrator belongs to external heating (external circulation) evaporator (concentrator), and when equipped with vacuum, its full name should be external heating vacuum pressure reducing evaporator (concentrator). The characteristic is to assemble the heating chamber outside the separation chamber, which not only facilitates cleaning and replacement but also reduces the overall temperature of the evaporator. Due to the long heating tube, the circulation tube is not heated, and the solution circulation speed is fast, which improves the heat transfer coefficient. However, the concentration should not be too high to affect the flow, and attention should be paid to scaling and coking.
2.2 Heating chamber: The interior of the heating chamber is tubular, with double-layer insulation. The upper and lower parts are connected to the evaporation chamber through nozzle elbows. The upper hole cover is used for cleaning the piping. The first effect heating chamber is equipped with a steam pressure gauge and a safety valve to ensure production safety.
2.3 Evaporation Chamber: The evaporation chamber is a double-layer structure with insulation and heat preservation. It is equipped with a mirror on the front for the operator to observe the evaporation of the liquid material, and is also equipped with a vacuum gauge and a temperature gauge for easy observation and control of the indoor vacuum degree and liquid temperature.

3、 Working principle of single effect concentrator
A steam (saturated water vapor) enters the heating chamber to heat the material liquid, and at the same time, under the action of vacuum, it is sprayed into the evaporation chamber from the nozzle. The material liquid returns to the heating chamber from the bend and is heated again before being sprayed into the evaporation chamber to form a cycle. When the material liquid is sprayed into the evaporation chamber, it forms a mist, and the water is quickly evaporated. The steam evaporated from the evaporation chamber enters the condenser and is cooled by tap water to form condensed water, which flows into the water receiver and is discharged by the drainage pump. After multiple cycles, the water in the feed liquid is continuously evaporated, and the concentration is increased until it is concentrated to the desired specific gravity and discharged from the liquid (paste) outlet. The cooling water undergoes heat exchange through the cooler, and when the water temperature rises to 30-40 ℃, it is sent to the plant's main water pipe for use throughout the plant or sent to the cooling tower for recycling.
