Product Description:
The instrument is suitable for the determination of chemical oxygen demand in water quality. The dichromate method is used to add a known amount of potassium dichromate solution to the water sample, and silver salt is used as a catalyst in a strong acid medium. After boiling and refluxing, ferrous sulfate is used as an indicator to titrate the unreduced dichromate value in the water sample with ferrous ammonium sulfate. The amount of ferrous ammonium sulfate consumed is converted into the mass concentration of oxygen consumed. The instrument has the advantages of high efficiency and high accuracy.
Applicable standards:GB/T 11914
Technical parameters:
- Measurement range: 0-1000mg/L, 0-10000mg/L (diluted with water sample)
- Measurement time ≤ 2h
- Measurement error: a. Potassium hydrogen phthalate standard solution (500mg/L), relative standard deviation not exceeding 5.0%
b. Industrial organic wastewater (500mg/L), with a relative standard deviation not exceeding 8.0%
Performance characteristics:
1. Following the basic principles of standards (ISO) and national standards (GB), the digestion operation of reflux heating and micro boiling for 2 hours is ensured. The preparation and addition of reagent solutions are consistent with the national standards (GB) * to ensure reliable and accurate analysis results.
2. By using microcomputer technology to timed control the infrared electric furnace heating, it is possible to simultaneously perform infrared heating on 5 (10) conical bottle reflux devices. To achieve the goals of safety, energy conservation, reducing power load, and improving efficiency.
3. Using glass burr reflux tube instead of spherical reflux tube and air cooling technology instead of water cooling method not only saves water but also standardizes the instrument.
4. The accuracy of COD water samples below 50mg/L can be improved by diluting titrants and oxidants, while COD water samples above 1000mg/L can be determined by diluting the water sample proportionally.
