Brookfield viscosity standard solutionIt is a Newtonian fluid, divided into two categories: silicone oil and oil. Silicone oil is less sensitive to temperature than oil. It can make the operation and use of your viscometer and rheometer more convenient, and the data more reliable.
Universal silicone oil standard solution is a commonly used standard solution for verifying Brookfield viscometers/rheometers. Silicone oil standard solution is a Newtonian fluid, accurate to ± 1% viscosity value. Silicone oil standard solution has excellent temperature stability and is less sensitive to temperature than oil viscosity standard solution. The calibration method for Brookfield viscosity standard solution follows the standards of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in the United States. Choosing one or two standard solutions can basically meet the calibration needs of your instrument.

Oil viscosity standard solution is used in the calibration and inspection process of specific instruments, such as cone/plate viscometers or rheometers, as well as Krebs rotor geometry instruments.
Features and advantages
- Accuracy:+/-1% of viscosity value
- Suitable for use with a shear rate greater than 500 sec-1
- It is recommended to use a cone/plate viscometer (CP) when the viscosity value measured is above 5000cP.
- Brookfield's oil standard fluid includes mineral oil and polybutene, both of which are hydrocarbons. Attention: If you need to order other standard oils, please call us.
- The accuracy of Brookfield viscosity standard solution is ± 1% of the nominal value, and the verification method follows the standards of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in the United States. Choosing one or two standard solutions can basically meet the calibration needs of your instrument. All standard liquid packaging specifications are 1/2 liter (1 pint), and each standard liquid comes with a calibration certificate. CAP oil standard liquid is packaged in 150ml (4oz) size
