product description
Turbine blades are a very important type of component in thermal power plants. When the main shaft of the steam turbine rotates at high speed, the linear velocity of the blade edge can reach supersonic speed. The high-temperature and high-pressure steam impacts the surface of the blades at a great speed, and under the combined action of factors such as cavitation and fatigue, the blades are prone to damage from the inlet edge. When it reaches a certain level, the entire blade is scrapped and needs to be replaced in a timely manner.
At present, many domestic and foreign researchers have conducted experimental explorations in this field, proposing different methods such as brazing, argon arc welding, thermal spraying, electric discharge, and laser cladding.
Laser cladding is currently the most advanced method for blade repair due to its high degree of automation, easy programming control, and metallurgical bonding between the repair layer and the blade substrate.
