Structural principle of methane non methane total hydrocarbon analyzerMain features:
1Hydrogen flame ionization detector (FID):
Cylindrical collection electrode structure design, quartz nozzle, responsive*
Detection limit: ≤ 8 × 10-12g/s (n-hexadecane/isooctane)
Baseline noise: ≤ 2×10-13A
Baseline drift: ≤ 2×10-12A/30min
Linear: ≥ one hundred and six
Stable time: Ten minutesA hydrogen flame ionization detector is a device that uses the heat generated by a hydrogen air flame to ignite a sample and a carrier gas. The hydrogen air flame itself produces very few ions, but when organic matter burns on the hydrogen flame, more ions are produced. A collection electrode is installed near the hydrogen flame. Under the action of the polarization voltage on the collecting electrode, positively charged ions and electrons will move towards both ends to form ion streams. The size of the ion flow is proportional to the amount of burning sample in the flame, and the ion flow is converted into a digital signal by an electrostatic meter.
In addition to formic acid and formaldehyde,FIDIt responds to almost all organic compounds and is the most widely used gas phase detector.
